General Information & Marina Services
Port Vauban is located in the town of Antibes on the French Riviera and is the largest marina (in terms of total tonnage of boats and yacht) in the Mediterranean Sea.
Originally a natural harbour dating back to the years before the Roman Empire, the port was fortified by Sébastien Le Prestre, Seigneur de Vauban, later Marquis de Vauban, King Louis XIV's military engineer.
With a total area of 460,000 sqm (320,000 sqm waterfront and 140,000 sqm of embankment and docks) impressive lanscaping and renovation work was completed in 2015. Port Vauban is home to some of the world's largest and most high profile yachts and can accommodate all types of vessels from 4.5 to 50 meters in length. The capitainerie is located in the middle of the harbour with a view of the entrance and all docks.
To the west of the port is the International Yacht Club of Antibes (IYCA) created in 1986 to accommodate superyachts from 50m up to 165m (see IYCA listing for details).
