General Information & Marina Services
The port of Saint-Tropez has always played a major role in the history of the town. Situated in the heart of the coastal village, the port of Saint-Tropez is still one of the most popular destinations for yacht owners and crew in the Mediterranean.
During high season, the single lane traffic along the coast road and from the motorway inland can be extremely heavy. Hotels also get booked up far in advance and to secure a berth in port you'll need to plan well ahead. Tipping is virtually obligatory if you wish to return.
As well as quaint boutiques and bars lining the marina, you can stroll and view the work of numerous artists exhibiting along the waterfront. Either side of St Tropez there are numerous beaches, the most famous being Pampelonne, where you'll find the renowned beach restaurants Club 55 and Tahiti Beach. If you prefer to avoid the crowds there are several other options worth exploring, including Plages La Glaye, La Ponche and de la Fontarette.
