IYS & ITA Announce a Unique Collaboration

Interior Training Academy and Interior Yacht Services are pleased to announce that they will be supporting each other’s efforts and programs , starting 2015. 

Both principles, Terry Gilmore & Peter Vogel, are of the opinion that our industry requires a united approach  following  the PYA  GUEST  initiative  and  feel  that  its  in  the  best  interest  for  the  industry that  the  quality  of  the  training  provided,  both  on board  and  ashore  is professional  and of  equal quality. 

This  pioneering  initiative  gives  the  industry a  strong interior  training  platform,  which  provides benefits for everyone involved. 

Both  Terry  &  Peter  feel  that  it’s  time  to  provide  the  type  of  training  that  supports  the  interior operation  and  motivate  the  individual  interior  crewmember  to  be  the  best  they  can  be.  Why  be mediocre when you can be excellent! 

ITA  will  be  focusing  on  elementary &  intermediate training  and  runs  shoreside  courses  throughout the  year  in  Antibes ,  France  and  the  UK whilst  IYS  runs  its  Luxury  Hospitality specialist courses  in Amsterdam Intermediate and focuses on , Advanced & Management level.

Both companies are specialised in training onboard and have developed effective programs supporting crew on the yachts from their clients. They will continue to bring their expertise and in the future support each other where possible.

By  working  close together  they  share  their  combined  expertise  with  the  next  generation.  Terry  is able to support his clients further by specialising in Interior and Chefs through his recruiting service at Abacus & March and Peter supports Captains and Interior HOD’s through the implementation of Interior Operating Structures.
