The Gulf of Valinco
This beautiful bay on the west coast has several charming towns nearby such as Cappiciolo, which looks over a gorgeous golden beach. The main town of the region is Propriano, which makes for a fantastic visit with its bustling port, high-quality restaurants and breath-taking backdrop.
Ajaccio
Ajaccio is the largest settlement on the island, tucked away in one of the most beautiful gulfs in the Mediterranean. Explore the nearby Iles Sanguinaires and soak up the nonchalant charm of Napoleon’s birthplace.

Porto
The coastline of the Gulf of Porto is made up of red granite cliffs falling into the deep blue sea, making it a UNESCO world heritage site. Have a wander around the endearing old village of Porto or have fun in the sun with water sports in the Gulf of Porto.
Calvi
With its lively centre filled with palm trees and quaint shops, Calvi has been called the French Riviera of Corsica. South of Calvi and with views over to the town and its Citadel, there is a long sandy beach for swimming and water sports.
