100 Days to Monaco Yacht Show 2018
100 days before the opening of its 28th edition, the Monaco Yacht Show launched its countdown for this year's event in the Monaco heliport. A hundred guests, including partners, exhibitors, private clients and media were invited to a cocktail reception to discuss their participation at MYS from 26-29 September.
General Manager, Gaëlle Tallarida, highlighted a number of key events for private guests including the return of the Monaco Yacht Summit and the Sapphire Experience, a VIP tour of the Show. Luxury lifestyle exhibits will include the Car Deck and a new Art Pavilion, designed to attract a broader range of high caliber visitors to the Show.
There will also be a new setting for the floating exhibition of 120 superyachts. Taking advantage of a restructuring of Quai des Etats Uni, this will give priority to yacht designers, builders and brokerage houses to exhibit in front of their superyachts for sale or charter.
The popular Tenders & Toys zone, launched in 2017, will still be situated on Quai Jarlan but this year it will extend to Quai Antoine Ier.
Transport networks will be optimized to provide access to all areas of the Show and shuttle boats will serve the main quays. Electric golf carts will shuttle between Quai Antoine Ier and the Quai Albert Ier tent, with the entrance being more centralized. Floating pedestrian access will also continue to link the T Central to Quai Antoine Ier.
Outside the show venue, the MYS has renewed its partnership with the Monaco Bus Company allowing all participants to use the buses free of charge during the show.

Rounding off the evening, and in true Monegasque style, the winners of the evening's quiz were treated to a helicopter ride courtesy of Monacair, taking in a panoramic view of the marina and the Bay of Monaco.
