Atoll Estates has announced the development of Zamani Islands, a lifestyle destination in the Maldives’ South Malé Atoll, including the region’s first superyacht marina and yacht club. This ground-breaking destination will launch its first phase in Spring 2026, redefining luxury and sustainability, placing ‘Planet and People’ as the driving force across the entire operation from design to food sourcing.

Extending to 5km in a natural lagoon, eight islands will accommodate three individual resorts, designed in partnership with resort master planner Killa Design. Zamani Islands aims to be the first 100% clean, renewable energy resort in the Maldives. It is located 21 nautical miles from the main international airport.

The superyacht market continues to expand, with a projected value of $10.8 billion by 2026. In 2023, the Maldives saw a significant increase in superyacht visits, with 18 superyachts arriving in January alone, compared to just one two months prior.

The Maldives is 99% water and 1% land, making it the perfect place to cruise around in a superyacht on its sparkling blue waters and experience its year-round sunshine and white sand beaches.
