Denison Super Yacht Division Named North American Representative
Denison Super Yacht Division Named Exclusive North American Representative for Italian Yacht Builder, Cantiere delle Marche Explorer Yachts.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. Denison Super Yacht Division has been named the exclusive North American representative for Ancona, Italy-based Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) explorer range of yachts, known for combining the luxury specifications of a superyacht with the size of a steel hulled mini-ship designed for long range cruising.
Denison will represent the Italian shipbuilder's full displacement Darwin Class series including the 86, 90, 96,107 and 115 and the semi-displacement Nauta Air series including the 86, 90, 96, 115 and 130.
The Darwin series feature Carbon steel hulls and light aluminum superstructures lowering the center of gravity while the Nauta Air series feature all-aluminum hull and superstructure construction. Intelligent distribution of interior and exterior spaces offer operation, storage and living areas that are comfortable and functional for the ship's owner, guests and crew.
"As the grandson, nephew and son of aluminum boat builders in the U.S., this product is very special to me personally," said Bob Denison, president of Denison Super Yacht Division. "I strongly believe in the CdM brand and look forward to introducing the American market to this outstanding product."
Known for exceptional attention to detail and naval engineering, all CdM yachts are built to class and feature extra-thick steel plates, cupronickel piping, remote controlled valves and zero speed stabilization as standard. Darwin Class models feature two rudders that can be controlled independently, offering extraordinary maneuverability in any sea condition, with some capable of trans-oceanic navigation and boasting a range of 7,000 miles. Both the Darwin and Nauta Air series offer long range capabilities.
Hydro Tech's Sergio Cutolo developed the Darwin Class line; the Nauta Air line was developed by Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino of Nauta Design.
"American buyers have pioneered the explorer style vessels and I am confident that the Cantiere delle Marche brand will be a huge success in the USA," said Alex Clarke, yacht broker with Denison Super Yachts and CdM brand representative. "We are honored to be a part of building this great future with CdM."
CdM has successfully sold one new construction project every three months since its inception in 2010. Keeping production numbers low, the builder has insured a high level of quality and demand.
In 2014 CdM has delivered a Darwin 86, the most popular model from the yard, and the first Nauta Air 86 and Nauta Air 90, all of which will be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 9 - 14.
Denison Super Yacht Division will display several CdM yachts at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October and at the Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach in February.
