HISWA Symposium of Yacht Design & Construction 2018

Celebrating 50 years of the HISWA Symposium, this year’s event will be opened by naval architects Gerard Dijkstra and Dr. Lex Keuning, former associate professor at Delft University of Technology.

With the theme of 'Back to the Future', industry experts and delegates will reflect on 50 years of past and future innovations in the fields of yacht design and construction.

The HISWA Symposium was started in 1968, a bi-annual event which has become an influential platform for yacht design and yacht building. This 2018 jubilee edition will be held on 12 and 13 November during METSTRADE, the largest B2B leisure marine equipment show which takes place at RAI Amsterdam from 13-15 November.

The HISWA Symposium, organised by HISWA, RAI Amsterdam and TU Delft is open to businesses, students and research institutes.
