ISA Yachts Collaborates with International Designers
The ISA brand is set to strengthen its identity through collaboration with top international designers, starting with the complete restyling of the Sport, Classic and GT ranges by Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi.
“Since its foundation in 2001, ISA Yachts has been a champion of excellence in quality, materials, finishings, technology and design, creating luxury megayachts (32 units built so far in the 36 to 66 metre range) that feature a high level of personalisation and a recognizable “Made in Italy” style,” says ISA Yachts Chairman and CEO Giuseppe Palumbo.
Top level performance and sophisticated styling go hand-in-hand with the design features that characterize ISA models, such as the arch that creates a link between the cockpit and the superstructure, the continuity of the stairways in the stern up to flybridge, the large side windows and details inspired by the automotive industry.
“The challenge we have set the designers, several of whom have a consolidated working relationship with the brand,” underscores ISA Yachts general manager Francesco Carbone, “is to work on the yachts’ distinctive features and transform them into true iconic elements to strengthen the brand’s identity.”
“ISA Yachts is a relatively young company,” explains marketing and communication manager Daniela Spinelli, “one which right from the outset has boldly expressed distinctive features that have driven quickly to success. We have extensively worked with designers and naval architects, listened carefully to the feedback received from our owners.”
The Projects

The new model is an evolution of the previous 37m, already with 11 units built, the latest to be launched in Ancona in June 2017.
The brand identity has been refreshed with the signature ISA arch running from the transom to the windshield being more pronounced, with window surfaces being enhanced thanks to 3m long glazing which includes direct access to the side decks, and two recesses on the hull for a floor-to-ceiling panoramic view from the main deck salon and the owner's suite.
The cockpit sun pad is enclosed in the spoiler that leans aft, allowing more space and a panoramic viewpoint, again reminiscent of the automotive world. Another signature feature in the ISA Yachts tradition is the continuity between the aft stairways, connecting the fly deck and the main level down to the stern platform.
The interior style is contemporary and modern with light coloured wood combined with elegant stainless steel details and hand stitched leather and Italian fabrics. The use of diffused light is also used to accentuate the design and convey special lighting scenes in interior areas.
“We revisited the typical features that distinguish ISA Yachts with a modern key”, states Enrico Gobbi, “taking inspiration from the pure shapes of nature and combining details that recall those of a luxury sport car. The elements that make 120 Sport distinctive are in first place her elegance, given by neat style lines and balanced proportions, her reference to natural elements which the designer cleverly transformed into stylish details, and the dynamic appeal that the overall design conveys”.
CLASSIC 41m - 50m - 57m - 65m
ISA Classic 50
The stylish new 50m tri-deck yacht is the first of the new Classic Line. Enrico Gobbi explains,
“ISA 50 is a performing yet elegant yacht, that reflects a sleek design with a nicely proportioned profile balanced by the typical grand arch connecting the aft deck cockpit to the superstructure. Continuous window surfaces characterize the yacht's profile and allow to have a stunning view of the panorama and flood of natural light in the interiors. The windows have sinuous shapes and are outlined by tense curves, purposely designed to make the yacht appear even sleeker and longer”.
The exterior spaces are developed on three levels: the main deck, with spacious lounge and formal sitting area, a chill-outarea on the upper deck with exterior dining, and the forward sun area with sofas and a large Jacuzzi enclosed in the superstructure. The ISA Classic 50 also features a 17m long sun terrace enclosed between two glass structures, a feature that characterize the new series.
As on all ISA Yachts, the interior can be totally customized. The first proposal is a play of light and dark colours enhanced by elegant lighting that produces a timeless elegance. Matte Canaletto walnut and lime wood combine with glossy lacquer details and hand stitched leather and Italian fabrics. The lighting plan for the exteriors also gives a distinctive look at night, thanks to the use of continuous strip LED lights.
GT 43m - 50m - 57m - 67m
ISA GT 67
As the successor to the GT 66, winner of the 2014 World Yacht Trophies with the iconic M/Y Okto, ISA GT 67 gains one meter and features the same innovations as the other two models, with the first unit to be launched in 2019.
“We revised the typical features that distinguish ISA Yachts with an even stronger appeal”, says Enrico Gobbi, “such as the grand arch connecting the aft cockpit to the superstructure, enriched by the air intake detail worthy of a sports car. The design of this large and unique sports yacht shows a well balanced exterior, with sleek, strong lines and slender silhouette. The volume of the superstructure is purposely drawn back to imitate the proportions and extended front hood of a large sports coupe”.
Continuous window surfaces characterize the yacht's profile and ensure floor- to-ceiling panoramic views from the main salon, master suite, and upper deck salon. The scenic transom houses a U shaped enclosed infinity pool made from transparent glass, with outstanding dimensions and depth.
A touch-and-go helipad is located forward, a glass house on the fly deck with a 180° views, presented as a gym or adapted to the owner's preference.
The yacht accomodates 10 guests in four large double cabins and a VIP suite, plus a luxury full beam master suite with enclosed private balcony. The first concept proposes a contemporary style balancing bold elements such as glossy wengé wood and softer ivory maple wood, with good use of marble and polished stainless steel creating an elegant and modern contrast.
As with the ISA Classic 50, ISA GT 67 features exterior lighting with LED stripes creating a signature look even at night.
