ISS Awards of Distinction - Call for Nominations

The global superyacht industry is unique with many outstanding individuals and businesses that deserve recognition from their peers. The International Superyacht Society’s Awards of Distinction were established to celebrate this excellence and nominations are now open!

Nominees will be published on social media and in press releases and the winners will be announced at the ISS Design & Awards Gala on Wednesday 31 October 2018.

Here are the categories for which you can submit your nominations for excellence during the past year.

Business Person of the Year

The Business (Person) of the Year is awarded to those who have demonstrated excellence in their area of expertise in the superyacht industry.

Distinguished Crew Award

This award recognizes distinguished acts of service which exemplify the high standards to which professional yacht crew aspire.

Innovation Award

Open to every aspect of the industry from crew training to technological advance and environmental leadership, this award is given to an individual or business that has demonstrated outstanding innovation.

ISS Fabien Cousteau Blue Award

This award celebrates stewardship of marine ecosystems. Prerequisites for nomination are: environmental leadership, global oceanic conservation and resource preservation. Essential criteria include: integration of environmental technologies and resource management with the goal of setting achievable standards and models for broader  adaptation in the design, engineering and building of large yachts, and the use of waterways.
