No Additional Clearances Required for USVI Sailing

With more and more superyachts choosing the United States Virgin Islands territories for winter cruising this season, IGY has created a dedicated USVI website with specific superyacht information for St Thomas, St John and St Croix.

Destination USVI will give regular updates on Covid-19 regulations on each island, as well as suggested itineraries, cruising and anchorage maps, destination videos and information on sights to see, activities and restaurants. 

It has recently been announced that following initial customs and immigration clearance into the USVIs at Yacht Haven Grande St Thomas, no additional clearances will be required, and neither is an additional Covid-19 test.

This will be welcome news for visiting yachts and guests, who will now be able to enjoy a seamless charter with much less hassle, allowing them to cruise the stunning USVIs (St Thomas, St John and St Croix) with fewer restrictions in place.

Yachts moored at Yacht Haven Grande St Thomas will also be able to take advantage of the marina’s spectacular facilities, including on-site marina Covid-19 testing, provisioning and fueling, on-site customs and immigration, itinerary planning, Navy Beach outdoor dining, shopping, tennis courts and more, making it the perfect stop off point during your trip.
