Richard Earp Award 2019 Open for Entries

Yachting industry associations MYBA and LYBRA invite those working in the superyacht industry to submit their nominations for this year's Richard Earp Award. Honouring Richard, who sadly passed away in 2016, the award recognizes those attributes strongly associated with Richard's personality and work ethic: transparency, fair and ethical behaviour, charisma and style.

Nominees should also be well respected within the industry, have longevity as a broker and still be active in the market today. Previous winners include Alex Lees-Buckley and Peter G.F. Insull.

The Judging Panel consists of experienced and highly respected senior figures from across the superyacht industry, including Gaye Joyeau-Bourgeois - President of MYBA, Eric Blair - Secretary General of LYBRA, several other key industry players and last year's winner.

The Award will be jointly presented by MYBA and LYBRA on the 8th May 2019 at The Superyacht Show in Barcelona.

Procedure for nominations: Please send an email to info@myba.net with the name of your nominated broker, a short paragraph describing the reasons for their nomination and any other supporting evidence by Friday 19th April. Please note brokers cannot nominate themselves!
