Superyacht Industry CEO Tips on Navigating the Coronavirus Crisis

In his six webinar since the coronavirus pandemic began, yachting expert Hein Velema was joined by a panel of four CEOs to discuss their current experiences during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Hein was joined by the heads of companies from a broad cross-section of the superyacht industry including Jonathan Beckett from Burgess, Jan Bart Verkuyl from Feadship, Tankoa’s Vincenzo Poerio and Sjoerd de Keizer from De Keizer Marine.

A number of great anecdotes of good advice surfaced from the discussion including:

• Use the opportunity to create a new business plan

• Learn from previous recessions

• Shipyards are likely to continue with their projects

• Some of the new ways of working are extremely effective

• Brokers should stay in touch with clients
