The State of the Market during COVID-19

Given the global Coronavirus situation, it’s vital to ensure we are kept up-to-date with the current affairs of various sectors of the industry. In it’s first panel of the series, yachting expert Hein Velema hosted an enlightened discussion around the topic of the state of the industry during these troubling times, alongside a panel of industry experts.

Kicking off the webinar was Amels and Damen Yachting’s Managing Director Rose Damen who confirmed that the shipyards remained operational, while bringing to light the important measures needed to both continue with construction of their projects while keeping clients and workforce safe.

She was joined by Raphael Sauleau, CEO of Fraser Yachts and maritime lawyer of Robert Allen Law, Bob Allen, who all agreed that while the future is unpredictable, the industry will bounce back and superyacht owners and charter clients will take sanctuary in the safe haven of a superyacht.
