Disney Magic's Glare Free Ride Into Newcastle
The Disney Magic ventured into Newcastle waters with a glare free view from all bridge navigational windows, thanks to Solarglide's solar screens for ships.
The vessel which arrived at 5:55am this morning measures an incredible 964 feet in length. Astonishingly the ship is longer than Main Street U.S.A which is located at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
The vessel currently has 33 SG Glider Solar Screens fitted to the bridge windows. SG Glider, the World's first Type Approved ship solar screen, represents the ideal solution for combating extreme heat and glare on your vessel. With temperatures reaching up to 21 degrees here in Newcastle today, the cruise vessel can rely on it's solar screens to keep them cool and glare free whilst operating on the ship's bridge.
Paul Pringle, Managing Director commmented, "It was great to see the Disney Magic in the North East, let's hope many of the other large cruise liner companies follow suite and join us here in Newcastle."
