Union, New Jersey - Three new Interlux® products will be featured in the Interlux booth (Newport Yachting Center, Tent D, booths 25-26) at the 2013 Newport International Boat Show, September 12-15 in Newport, Rhode Island.

MarineFilm Instant Gelcoat & Paint Scratch Repair

New MarineFilm is a unique, specially developed microfilm designed to provide a temporary repair of small scratches in gelcoat and paint above the waterline.

Available in the 12 most popular gelcoat and Interlux topside paint colors, MarineFilm is easy to apply. Simply locate the scratch, clean the damaged area and carefully apply the microfilm.

Ultra-thin, eco-friendly MarineFilm provides an almost invisible, strong, season long adhesion and is easily removable when the scratch is ready to be permanently repaired.

InterProtect® HS (High Solids)

New InterProtect HS is a versatile, high solids, two part epoxy that can be used above and below the waterline as a high build primer.

As part of a gelcoat blister repair or prevention system, InterProtect HS uses the Micro-Plate® Technology to substantially reduce water migration through the epoxy to the hull surface, which could lead to blistering. Micro-Plates also provide protection from corrosion for metals.

InterProtect HS is a high solids epoxy which means fewer coats to reach the desired film thickness. It also meets the most restrictive V.O.C. regulations and helps reduce solvent emissions into the environment. 

Intersleek Pro

Intersleek Pro is a new, three-part, high-gloss, longer-lasting biocide free coating with superior foul release properties for hulls and props that uses new, advanced, patented fluoropolymer technology for improved speed and fuel efficiency and reduced engine drag.

Compared to silicone systems, Intersleek Pro with fluoropolymer technology offers these key advantages:

• Reduced slime
• Better coefficient of friction, static fouling resistance and hold-up
