Rolls Royce Adds a Touch of Colour

Rolls-Royce says the latest trend among the super-rich is for coloured engines in their yachts.
The firm’s Power Systems division has been making diesel engines for yachts since the 1930s and customers under its MTU brand include top builders Lürssen, Italy’s Ferretti and Sunseeker.
But now, as billionaires look for new ways to impress guests, the engine room has become part of the tour – with even bubble-gum pink and glass walls an option.
A spokesman said: ‘Sometimes they want the engines to make a statement. And sometimes they want to make that statement in pink.
'But the majority of our customers opt for white, silver or cobalt blue.’
