SNAME Membership Magazine Finalist For Prestigious Publishing Awards
Marine Technology (mt), the SNAME membership magazine, has been listed as a finalist for two 2014 Folio: Eddie and Ozzie Awards, celebrating excellence in magazine editorial and design.
(mt) is an Eddie finalist in the Association/Non-profit Single Article, less than 6 issues category and a Ozzie finalist for Association/Non-profit Feature Design, less than 6 issues. The award winners will be announced on Thursday, December 11 at the Yale Club in New York City.
Published quarterly, (mt) features cutting edge technical articles on topics of interest across all marine disciplines. Included are vessel reports, in-depth features, historical notes, public policy briefings, profiles of SNAME founders and leaders, abstracts of highlighted technical papers and reviews of maritime books and media.
Douglas Kelly is the editor of (mt) and the editorial board, headed by Matthew Tedesco, consists of SNAME members who are the top professionals in their fields.
