Asia Superyacht Rendezvous 16-18 December

An eclectic fleet of superyachts are lined up on the dock for the 15th edition of the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous.

The 2015 line-up includes S/Y Lamima, a stunning 65m gaff rigged Indonesian Phinisi; two graceful classics S/Y Aventure, and S/Y Lady Thuraya at 29m and 31m respectively; a high performance Dubois 37m S/Y Bliss; S/Y Arabella a 20m new build, the sleek cruiser motor yacht Antares by Maoira Yachts at 32m; the high performance After 8 - a beautiful German built custom motor yacht of 33m and the contemporary sharp lines of M/Y Darling a 21m new build Monte Carlo courtesy of Royal Phuket Marina and Gulu Lalvani.

The Asia Superyacht Rendezvous begins with a Thai Buddhist Blessing of the fleet before some of the best mixologists in the area prepare cocktails for the guests to enjoy aboard S/Y Lamima.

Wednesday brings the start of the racing with sailing yachts competing on a course through the islands of Phuket, whilst the motor yachts follow all the action and relax in the stunning surroundings.

The entertainment programme provides a selection of elegant dinners and drinks receptions for all guests to enjoy including the popular Feadship Challenge, which sees teams compete with model boats for some light-hearted fun. The event will conclude on Friday evening with the VIP Grand Finale Gala Dinner.

The Rendezvous represents Asia's largest at sea gathering of superyachts and brings together some of Asia’s most active influential business leaders and society luminaries, situated in the spectacular surroundings of Phuket; a gate way to a myriad of luxury yacht cruising adventures through the islands of Thailand.
