Enhancing the Visitor Experience at Monaco Yacht Show 2019

The Monaco Yacht Show has started its countdown to the opening of the 29th edition which takes place from 25-28 September 2019 in Port Hercules.

Ever keen to perfect the format and attract serious buyers to the show, this year MYS has introduced a number of new initiatives including a change to the Show's opening times and a range of VIP hospitality packages.

New at MYS 2019

Most significantly, the opening hours this year will be 11am to 7.30pm to accommodate the visiting times preferred by private clients.

“We work to offer the most prestigious superyachting event to the new generation of customers,” said Tallarida. “Our responsibility is to offer our visitors an entertaining and instructive plunge into the world of superyachting, while serving the interest of the industry. In other words, to encourage encounters between final clients and the best players in the market.”

Further changes include a refit of The Upper Deck Lounge across two floors. The ground floor will be dedicated to luxury exhibitors, a bar with an outdoor terrace, while the first floor will house the show restaurant and a VIP lounge with panoramic views over Port Hercules.

MYS Luxury Exhibition 

Located under the Parvis Piscine tent, The Upper Deck Lounge will be open from 11am-7.30pm featuring new collections and luxury products that complete the superyacht life.

Private collectors and enthusiasts of high end timepieces will enjoy the exhibit from Ulysse Nardin, official sponsor of MYS, displaying its latest collection of marine watches and the limited edition Marine Mega Yacht. Fine watch makers Only Watch will also be displaying 50 exclusive one-off designs.

Representing interior and exterior design are Sabrina Monte Carlo and Paola Lenti who will fashion the Upper Deck Lounge with furniture, and Preciosa who will demonstrate their  expertise in lighting for superyachts. New this year are Italian houses Agresti, the specialist in luxury safes,  and Giobagnara, manufacturer of bespoke leather furniture.

Further highlights include the Monegasque art gallery Green & Mingarelli with an exhibit of wildlife photographs by the artist David Yarrow, Aqun’s connected bracelet linking jewellery to the IoT, and the chic and sleek Falcon jet from Dassault Aviation. 

Catering at MYS

The MYS Upper Deck Lounge will welcome visitors for refreshments and snacks at the Lanson Champagne Bar on the ground floor. On the first floor, Horizon restaurant will offer daily lunch menus (12-4pm) and open its bar late afternoons (4-7.30pm).

The VIP Lounge at MYS

VIP visitors will be welcomed with champagne at the dedicated lounge on the first floor. This is a private area where guests can enjoy food and drinks, massages, free Wi-Fi and a dedicated concierge service for booking MYS courtesy cars. Sponsored by Société Générale Private Banking, the VIP Lounge is available exclusively to yacht owners, clients of the MYS Sapphire Experience and delegates of the Monaco Yacht Summit. 

Visit & Lunch Passes at MYS

Also new this year is the opportunity to purchase Visit & Lunch passes, a convenient and stylish way to enjoy the show whether you’re attending for business or pleasure.
