Excellent Figures Reported at YARE 2023

Excellent data has been reported from the 13th edition of YARE (Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience), the international yachting event dedicated to the refit and aftersales of the superyacht sector. Organised by NAVIGO, the service centre for nautical innovation and development, around 1,600 face-to-face business meetings between captains and Italian and international companies, who presented their products and services in dedicated appointments, took place at the event.

The Superyacht Forum Live, organised by the international media partner The Superyacht Group, and the technical workshops divided into two days recorded a total attendance of more than 350 participants.

YARE is a consolidated event that involves the entire nautical district oriented to the superyacht sector from Livorno in Tuscany and passing through Viareggio, one of the major production centres - up to La Spezia in Liguria. During the tour, the captains were able to visit construction sites and enterprises.

Included in the yachting week and in collaboration with Seatec/Compotec, a gala dinner was organised with 450 participants including Yare captains and companies, Seatec exhibitors, and the delegation of international buyers coordinated and promoted by Ice Agenzia. In the suggestive headquarters of the Franchi Umberto Marmi company in Carrara, and in the presence of the president of the Regione Toscana Eugenio Giani, the evening - in addition to contributing to the networking between the participants of the two boating events in Tuscany - was an opportunity for an extra promotion sector thanks to the collaboration of Toscana Promozione Turistica and the support of the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Tuscany and the operational support of its subsidiary Lucca Promos.

“Yare proves to be the most important event in the world in the refit and aftersales sector, in an important moment of the market where it is necessary to look at the life of the boat with a strategy that aims at the next 10 years, also in relation to port and sustainable development of boats that go to sea,” declares Pietro Angelini, general manager of NAVIGO. “In terms of the number of meetings, presence of international companies and shipyards, type of captains participating and size of the yachts represented, we are in the centre of the main measure of the market.

In these last two editions, the integration and synergy with Seatec, organised by Carrarafiere, allows us to think of a change of format increasingly oriented towards business meetings and internationalisation, with the vision of a Tuscan yachting week with matching between sellers and increasingly fundamental buyers.”

The fourteenth edition of YARE is scheduled from 13 to 15 March 2024.
