Monaco Yacht Show 2017: 27-30 September
Set in the iconic Port Hercules of the Principality of Monaco, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is the most exclusive charter and brokerage show on the yachting calendar, with the privilege of support from His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
Over 580 exhibitors participate in the MYS, including brokerage companies, superyacht builders, yacht designers, luxury product manufacturers and a wide range of service providers.
Of course the highlight of the Show is the spectacle of magnificent yachts lining Port Hercule - a total of 125 of the world's most beautiful superyachts built by the world’s best known shipyards, with 45 new launches and world premieres.
For the second year, the Monaco Yacht Summit takes place on the eve of the opening day of the Show. This exclusive even will involve five table-talks led by industry leaders who share their personal insights and provide unbiased information about the fascinating and complex world of superyachts.
These workshops will cover important and topical issues around yacht charter and the purchase of a yacht for the first time providing potential charterers, buyers and owners' representatives with valuable advice ahead of the four day Show.
Also returning this year is the Car Deck (Quai Antoine 1er entrance), an exhibition space dedicated to luxury vehicles available for purchase or to test drive in the heart of the town. The Car Deck also gives access to a 230 m² indoor bar-lounge. Entrance will require presentation of a valid MYS 2017 badge .
The Car Deck is a strategic part of MYS's development, implemented four years ago to enhance the show's appeal to a wider audience of new wealthy individuals both regionally and internationally.
Another initiative created to attract a younger generation is the new Tenders & Toys Zone. Yacht brokerages recognize that a diversity of leisure equipment and water toys is increasingly important in delivering the type of charter experience that this new cohort of potential clients expects. Vessels on show will include tenders for transfers, day trips, water sports as well as performance tenders and chase boats, across two sites:
The first is on the quay along the Dutch HISWA pavilion and the other on the water opposite the Car Deck and the Starboard.
