MYBA Charter Show 2021 Cancelled

After careful deliberation, and consultation with Marina Port Vell, the organisers of the MYBA Charter Show have today announced the cancellation of the 2021 edition which was scheduled to take place from 26 - 29 April in Barcelona.  The Show’s management say the decision was difficult but necessary as recent developments and travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic mean the event is no longer feasible.

Marina Port Vell supports this decision and, being a co-organiser of the event, they share a deep sense of responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all participants. MYBA is very disappointed that they will be unable to host the event this year, but feel it is the right decision based on the information available today.

In place of the in-person event, MYBA together with Marina Port Vell are already exploring alternative ways to engage the superyacht community and move forward. A spokesperson for MYBA said, “The show must go on and even if that is not set to happen this year in the way that we intended, we are certain that we can tap into new avenues that will help our valued members and Show stakeholders to mitigate the level of disruption to business. We will be sharing additional details about our plans in the coming weeks so please stay tuned!”
