Singapore Yacht Show Preview

As the magnificent yachts converge onto Singapore’s shores for the fifth edition of the Singapore Yacht Show, the toys, and tenders deserve their own spotlight – offering new and fun ways to spend time on the water.

The introduction of the C-Explorer 3 submersible from show exhibitor U-Boat Worx, is the ultimate toy, that can hold up to three passengers to a depth of 1,000m. This ultra-modern submersible is built to explore the deep sea in air-conditioned comfort and allows adventurous types to explore hidden shipwrecks, search for new species or simply enjoy the breathtaking marine environment.

The C-Explorer 3 submersible features the world’s most spacious fully acrylic pressure hull that offers an unimpeded view. Powered by four independent Lithium-Ion batteries, this private submarine may stay submerged up to 12 hours without recharging.

Debuting in style at this year’s Show is Van Dieman Luxury Craft with their innovative convertible Sports Limousine. This James Bond style luxury Sports Limousine has an intelligent design that allows it to convert from Limousine to Sports Boat in less than 30 seconds, and is designed to give maximum volume, versatility and comfort.

Synonymous with style, performance and innovation the Wally 47 will be making its Show premier, care of Limitless Marine and local dealer, Henry Goulding Pte Ltd. This spacious sports cruiser blends practicality with indulgence and cuts through waves like a performance speed boat while the teak decks and carbon fibre components offer the finishing of a sleek, modern superyacht

Other noteworthy inclusions to the Show include a variety of inflatables, that range from yacht slides, rock climbing walls, right through to trampolines – courtesy of Funair Builds.

Got the need for speed? Powerboat P1 is the fastest growing marine motorsport series in the world, and adrenaline enthusiasts will be excited to know that P1 Singapore will be presenting a P1 Superstock powerboat at the Show. It will be exhibited on land, in the North Pavilion, and visitors are able to appreciate the powerful vessel up-close.

Local company, Xtreme Machines will also be exhibiting their impressive jet ski in the North Pavilion. Boat Lagoon is presenting two sleek sports cruisers by Wider Yachts, the, Wider 32 and Wider 42, many are ardent fans of their eclectic and versatile designs.

 The Subaviator is a one of a kind submarine that cleverly incorporates adventure and class in its design.

This luxury submersible is handsome, powerful, and stylish – a much coveted sub for curiously discerning gentlemen. The Singapore Yacht Show will take place from 23-26 April 2015 at ONE°15 Marina Club, Sentosa Cove.

The Show is expected to attract more than 16,000 visitors, 120 yachts and boats and 150 exhibitors. Tickets start from SGD48 for a single day entry.
