Stockholm Boat Show

The Stockholm International Boat Show takes place at Stockholm’s largest conference centre, Stockholmässan, next month.
The Nordic region’s largest yachting event, featuring around 500 craft, it will feature yachts, sail boats, motor boats, engines and water scooters as well as equipment and accessories for windsurfing, surfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, canoeing, rowing, rafting and diving.
For the first time, the show will be divided into seven sections: Sailing, Grand/Large Motor Boats, Accessories, Environment/Sustainable Seas, Classic Boat Show, Life on Board and Little Stockholm International Boat Show.
For sailing enthusiasts, the most recent state of the art flying yachts will be on display alongside a selection of Swedish classic yachts from the last century, stretching back in history as far as the Viking era. Around 100,000 visitors are expected during the nine day event, which will boast around 40 exclusive boats never seen before at the Stockholm show.
One of the major star attractions is expected to be the 15 metre speed demon Zuperman, which reaches speeds of up to 200 knots, as well as the Bavaria Virtess 420 Fly motor boat, the Forbina 42 CC and four different models of the Axopar 28. World premieres at the show include the aluminium Viggo X8 alongside the Arronet 25 sxt.
One important theme of this year’s show is the environment, with many exhibitors showcasing their ideas for a cleaner Baltic Sea. As well as a dedicated children’s area, visitors can stop off and enjoy refreshments at the rosé and bubble bar.
