Leading yacht company Y.CO is pleased to announce that it is expanding the charter operations of 77.4m Icon Yachts motor yacht Legend to include the Mediterranean for future summer seasons.

After a successful trial summer season in the Mediterranean in 2021, the yacht – which is known as one of the most luxurious expedition vessels on the charter market – will be offering its iconic charter experience, which includes a crew to guest ratio of more than 1:1, submersible and heli-operations – to guests hoping to discover the islands and beaches of the East and West Mediterranean.

Built as an Ice Breaking Tug by IHC Verschure in 1974, Legend was transformed into the luxurious go-anywhere Explorer vessel she is today by Icon Yachts in 2015. Since then, she has thrilled guests on expeditions to Antarctica during the winter months, while her summers have been spent heliskiing in Greenland and exploring the Norwegian Fjords and Svalbard. While the yacht will still explore Northern Europe during June, she will bring her expedition experience to the Mediterranean for the peak season of July and August.

Ideal for large parties and multi-generational family groups, Legend accommodates up to 22 guests across 11 generous, individually themed cabins. The yacht offers an array of luxurious amenities such as a Balinese spa, a heated 16-person hot-tub, cinema room, a BBQ grill and a fully equipped gym across her five ornately designed decks. All this, along with a guest to crew ratio that exceeds 1:1, makes Legend as comfortable cruising the sun-dappled bays of the Mediterranean as she is in the icy waters of Antarctica.
