Antigua Designer Water Contest Promotes Reduction of Plastic Bottles

CYBA in collaboration with IYBA, MYBA, AYCM and other TBA broker associations will sponsor the 2016 Antigua Designer Water Contest, an industry wide effort to raise awareness about the hazard and waste in using plastic water bottles and how easy it is to reduce. 

Held during the Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting from 4-10 December, the competition rules are simple and fun:

• Create your "Yacht Specialty Water" infused with ingredients of your choice. Water must be produced on-board your yacht.

• Serve in reusable or recyclable containers.

• Have 3 printed copies of your recipe to share with the judges. 

• Taste, creativity, and presentation will be judged.

the judges will be members of each association and will taste each yacht's water while onboard.  to view the yacht. Judging will be done on 5 and 6 December, with prize giving on 6 December 6 at 5.30pm in the Hall of Fame in the Copper and Lumber Tent.

The winner will receive the prestigious 2016 'Save the Blue' award as well as luxury treatments at their spa of choice. Two runners-up will also receive a special gift. The
