February 2016. Azimut Yachts is attending this year’s Dubai International Boat Show from March 1 to 5, 2016, riding high on the success of rising sales reported for the last five years running. The strategy of introducing a constant stream of new models has proved a winning one in this market too, where Azimut 72 and Magellano 66 were already sold out a matter of months after they were unveiled.

In order to guarantee assistance at the highest possible level for the brand’s growing client base, the position of Gulf Service Manager has been created. This specialist engineer from company headquarters in Italy coordinates all technical assistance and after-sales activities in the Gulf area.

Still in Middle East, the sales network in the area has opened a new office in Dubai, which joins those in Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. Seas & Deserts managing director Ahmad Al-Ameeri had this to say about the new opening:

“Over the last year we have achieved excellent results with Azimut Yachts, delivering a considerable number of yachts in the region in the 34 to 120-foot range. In order to make life easier for our clients in this area, we’re pleased to announce the opening of our new Dubai Marina Yacht Club office, scheduled for March 2016. We have also set ourselves the goal of opening a new office in the Pearl Marina in Doha, plans for which are currently being drawn up. We strongly believe that our commitment to provide service at the highest possible level, combined with the design and unique performance of Azimut products, not to mention the valuable opportunity offered by the favourable exchange rate with the Euro, will help us maintain our position of leadership in the Gulf area.”

His words are echoed by Azimut Yachts Middle-East Area Manager Enrico Chiaussa, who said that “the partnership with Seas & Deserts is a very strong one, so much so

that at the recent dealer meeting the company was named Grande Collection Dealer of the Year 2015. Yachts over 80 feet in length are proving to be the most successful segment and one demonstration of this is the recent showing at the Kuwait Boat Show of not one but two Azimut Grande 95RPH yachts, each with a different layout. In fact, the reason we have decided to permanently transfer a Service Manager from Italy is to offer ever better client service by helping dealers and owners with their specific technical needs.”

This is a very important market for the Italian shipyard, so having a broad-based network and being within easy reach for clients is essential. To do this, Azimut draws on the services of five companies to represent the Azimut Yachts brand in the Middle-East, establishing profitable partnerships with them over the years:

  • Azimut Yachts U.A.E. / Qatar / Kuwait / Bahrain
  • Azimut Yachts Lebanon
  • Azimut Yachts Saudi Arabia
  • Azimut Yachts Egypt
  • Azimut Yachts Jordan
