Ben Ainslie: New Year, New Challenges!
Another very busy year comes to an end for the team, a year in which we have achieved an enormous amount:
Launching our second Testing Boat (T2), moving into our new home in Portsmouth and signing major partners like Land Rover, CMC Markets and BT.
Those are just the headlines, and I'd like to thank you all, on behalf of the whole team, for your continued support through all these stages of our journey.
Of course, with the clock ticking down to the 35th America's Cup we have to continue to use our time and resources wisely, and there are a lot of different things competing for our focus and attention.
We will be competing in at least four events in the Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series in 2016. When we're not racing we will be back at our Portsmouth base, testing and developing our race boats.
It will be another busy and challenging year ahead, as we move towards launching our final race boat in Bermuda at the end of 2016.
At the London Boat Show from the 8th – 17th January (Stand A001) we'll be bringing the next development of our 3D sailing experience – allowing each virtual sailor to helm and control their own AC45. There will be an interactive power grinder, a 'pit wall' display showcasing how the Land Rover BAR Systems and Analysis team review the data from the racing and a lot, lot more...
We have had four Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series events confirmed for 2016, with the likelihood of more to come.
• Muscat, Oman, February 26-28
• New York, USA, May 6-8
• Chicago, USA, June 10-12
• Portsmouth, July 22-24

When we're not out racing, we'll be back at our home base training and developing our race boat ahead of the launch in Bermuda at the end of 2016.
Wear it with pride!

We're very excited that Jeremy Houghton has been announced as the official artist in residence at Land Rover BAR. A specialist in sport and flight, Houghton was previously Official Artist for the London 2012 Olympic Games, and has spent time as artist in residence at Highgrove for HRH the Prince of Wales, and at Windsor Castle for HM the Queen.
