Cannes Yachting Festival 12-17 September 2017
The 40th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival kicks off today, dominating the city and it's two marinas at either end of La Croisette.
The event has marked the beginning of the international boat show calendar since 1977 and still represents an early opportunity to showcase new models and innovations to both the public and the yachting industry.
Special events will be taking place throughout the week, celebrating four decades of Europe’s largest in-water show, known for its eclecticism and the range of vessels on display, from tenders and chase boats to catamarans and superyachts.
Following the successful launch of La Terasse at last year’s show, the Cannes Yachting Festival will unveil the ‘Luxury Gallery’ in the Palais des Festivals dedicated to a range of luxury lifestyle brands including cars, watches, jewellery, gastronomy, private aviation, and designer accessories. The Show's official partners include Maserati, Fred, Dalloyau, Louis Roederer, Musto, Wajer Yachts and Azur Helicopters.
The Cannes Yachtig Festival is organised by Reed Expositions France (REF), part of the Luxury, Culture and Leisure Division, covering shows such as FIAC, Paris Photo, and the Salon Piscine & Bien-être Show.
On Thursday 14 September the Concours d’Elégance sees a unique parade of vintage and modern day boats true to the spirit of the Cote d'Azur, open exclusively to exhibitors, owners and collectors.
