GMC's Round Up of the Spring Yachting Events

Having just returned from a 3 week visit of 3 yachting events in 3 different countries, we are very happy to inform you that all 3 events were a success and and a pleasure to attend.

Antibes Celebrates Yachting Event

Having setup the Wi-Fi at the "Antibes Celebrates Yachting" event on the 24th & 25th April in Port Vauban, we had the opportunity to speak with crew, management companies, captains and brokers and also be a part of a panel discussing the future of yachting.  Around 1,500 people and over 50 exhibitors, had a wonderful time over the 2 days. 

We also attended the Crew Party and the Captains Soiree where a great time was had by all, and the ACY was a huge success overall.

Genoa MYBA Charter Show

A week later we were in Genoa visiting this event as a guest.  Seeing all the yachts and talking to all the companies that exhibited in a relaxed atmosphere was a great experience, even if it did rain on the first day!  Apart from that, the exhibitors party, the yacht hops, the "sundowners" drinks, courtesy of some amazing exhibitors, culminated in another great event.
 
Palma Superyacht Show

A few days later we were in the sunshine of Palma de Mallorca, a very relaxed and inspiring show. The yachts, people, exhibitors, and visitors alike, enjoyed the wonderful weather and awesome events that were laid on by the organisers and exhibitors. 

We participated in a "VSAT Unplugged" workgroup with ACrew on Saturday & Sunday which bought captains, engineers, crew and others to listen and understand how VSAT works, how to select the best satcoms solution and what will be the future of communications, all in all a great event for everyone involved.

I would like to thank everyone involved who helped make these trips a great success and experience, not only for myself, but for everyone who attended.
