Hanse 315 voted European Yacht of the Year 2016

The new Hanse 315 was announced as "European Yacht of the Year" at boot Düsseldorf. The winner was chosen by a jury of experts from eleven major continental European sailing magazines.

The editors of eleven influential magazines chose the “European Yacht of the Year” in five different categories: Family-Cruiser, Performance-Cruiser, Luxury-Cruiser, Multihull and Special Yachts. The Hanse 315 was one of the 25 contestants and wins in the Family-Cruiser category.

All nominees faced the judgement of the jury in extensive sea trials and were evaluated in six different areas: sailing characteristics, comfort, quality of construction, innovation, design and price-performance ratio.

The winners were announced on the first night of the boot Düsseldorf (23.01.16-31.01.16) in the scope of the Delius Klasing flagship night, where Dr. Jens Gerhardt, CEO of HanseYachts AG, accepted the prize. The jury consisted of members from the following countries: Germany, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Great Britain, France, the Netherlands and Spain.
