Monaco Yacht Show 2015 New Layout
The 2015 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show will underline the beginning of a new cycle as the show will celebrate its 25th edition, but above all because it will display a new look with extra berths and a reorganisation of its exhibition area.
Relocation of the Darse Nord at Quai Antoine 1er
The new setting of the 2015 MYS results from the decision of the Monaco Government to start the renewal works of Port Hercules for the construction of new underground car parks and the repositioning of the Museum of the private collection of antique cars of HSH Prince Rainier III.
As a consequence, the historical exhibition area of the Darse Nord will move on Quai Antoine 1er. Quai Antoine 1er will therefore be able to deliver an aggregate of 2,825 sqm of surface area - divided into two air-conditioned exhibition tents (Quai Antoine 1er A – 2,425 sqm - and Quai Antoine 1er B - 400 sqm) - to relocate most of the exhibitors of the former Darse Nord tent.
Extension of the afloat exhibition up to the Quai Rainier III
The information had been disclosed in July 2013 during the announcement of the partnership between the Monaco Yacht Show, the Yacht Club de Monaco and the Société d’Exploitation des Ports de Monaco (S.E.P.M.): from 2015, the MYS will offer three berths alongside the Quai Rainier III to
welcome very big units over 100 metres long. This will take the afloat exhibition capacity to 121 super & megayachts.
As a matter of fact, this new setting on the southern side of Port Hercules will require the reorganisation of a coherent and homogeneous traffic flow between all the existing and new exhibition areas.
Once you’re in, you can go anywhere!
With the show that will be extended from Jetée Lucciana down to Quai Rainier III, the 2015 MYS will reinforce its reception, information and transportations services on the venue for an uninterrupted visit along the whole Port Hercules:
‒ The MYS Darse Sud main entrance and the show’s VIP courtesy car service will move to the end of Quai Antoine 1er (facing the former Yacht Club de Monaco),
‒ A new service of golf carts to drive the visitors from Darse Sud to the Quai Antoine 1er entrance,
‒ The MYS shuttle boats – with a boat for 50 passengers - will transport the visitors across the port, linking Quai Antoine 1er and the northern side of the Port (Quai des États-Unis, Quai de l’Hirondelle and the new Yacht Club de Monaco),
‒ During the show, more MYS crews will give information about the exhibition areas to the visitors,
‒ More MYS information signage on site to easily reach the new exhibition areas,
‒ Two parkings will be located next to the new entrance. Parking des Pêcheurs and Parking de la Digue have 600 parking spaces available,
‒ A project of pop-up bar close to the Quai Antoine 1er tent is in progress. It will offer an area for meetings between the exhibitors and the visitors on this new zone.
For 25 years, the MYS Organisers have achieved to keep on delivering and developing one of the superyachting community’s favourite market hubs. Every year, 85% of the exhibitors renew their spaces in Monaco. In 2015, more than square metres, they have more importantly renewed their trust
in the show. And for this, the show’s organisers guarantee they make every effort to listen and meet the needs of each of them with the finale perspective of celebrating the fascinating superyachting industry
altogether.
