MYBA Accredits Australian Brokerage House

Australian brokerage house, Bray Management, has received MYBA accreditation, to become an active broker in the Australian domestic market with the international superyacht-standard, stamp of approval.

Australian broker Cameron Bray started his business, Bray Management determined to bring something new to his home turf.

His goal was to deliver Australian clients, and clients chartering within Australia, a service in line with the leading standards of superyacht brokerage around the world. Bray Management’s recent MYBA accreditation is an acknowledgement that he’s achieved that; to the benefit of both Australian superyacht owners, and the international HNWI chartering or buying within Australia and the South Pacific.

MYBA - The Worldwide Yachting Association, has stringent standards of professional practice which must be met by those companies hoping to be admitted to the ranks of accredited members, including holding professional indemnity insurance, operating to the highest levels of technical and ethical professional conduct and having a rock-solid track record of operation within the superyacht industry. Bray Management’s accreditation by the organisation comes after years of proven ethical practice, confirmed by testimonials from established superyacht figures on his high standard of operation.

Bray flew to Fort Lauderdale in November, where the company’s application was assessed by a board of MYBA members to ensure it met the strict requirements to operate within the highest echelons of the industry.

It’s recommended within the superyacht industry that yacht owners and charterers always work with a MYBA company to ensure they have adequate protection in the charter or sale process, and are represented by a seasoned professional. The MYBA Charter Agreement and the MYBA Memorandum Agreement have been developed to provide the superyacht industry standard which responsible brokers adhere to, in order to provide the best possible service to their clients.

Bray Management represents Australia’s largest fleet of Australian superyachts available for charter and has been very active in lobbying efforts to improve Australian charter legislation for the economic benefit of the country. With this new MYBA accreditation, Bray Management is now looking forward to helping more Australians buy or charter yachts through a protected, and endorsed process.
