Pelorus Yachting Announces New Charter CA: Kudanil Explorer
Pelorus Yachting, specialists in adventure charters, expeditions and life-changing experiences, is delighted to announce the addition of 50m Kudanil Explorer to its central agency charter fleet. Kudanil Explorer is a luxury explorer yacht cruising Indonesian waters, from Bali in the west, to the southern tip of West Papua. Kudanil Explorer is the perfect platform for diving, surfing and exploring lesser known parts of Indonesia.
She began her life as a safety standby vessel before being converted into a luxury explorer yacht from 2016-2018. Since, she has had numerous upgrades in amenities and service and is constantly maintained to impeccable standards. Her original design offers superb stability and range, allowing guests to travel further off the beaten track to discover hidden surf breaks, remote bays and tribes. The bohemian-cool interiors juxtapose her rugged exterior, achieving a harmony between outdoor living and surf style that guests will love.
She sleeps up to 16 adults and three children in eight identical 30sqm cabins, all with private balconies: a unique arrangement in Indonesia. Across four decks there is plenty of space for relaxing and taking in the view, as well as outdoor dining spaces and sun lounges. Unusually for an Indonesian charter vessel, she also has a Jacuzzi and spa for relaxation once the exploring is over.
On board, charterers are looked after by 21 experienced crew, who will facilitate their exploration of some of the planet’s most untouched landscapes. They will use Kudanil Explorer’s tenders and toys to uncover historic shipwrecks, caves, and mangroves, as well as the hidden surf breaks of Rote, Savu and Sumba as well as Papua and Maluku. The crew are trained in jetski pick-ups from the surf breaks, a hard-earned skill, providing yacht-to-break service, as well as offering expert dive sessions to swim amongst more coral fish species than anywhere else on earth, as well manta rays and whale sharks.
Beyond the water, there is a vibrant cultural tapestry to be explored and guests will immerse themselves in traditional villages, local folklore, dance and dining.
