Preparations for the Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro 2015

Preparations for the Superyacht Rendezvous in Montenegro are now firmly underway. With a glittering social programme planned and the beautiful Porto Montenegro set to play host, this year’s rendezvous promises to be unforgettable. 

We are very proud to be welcoming some of the world’s most elite motoryachts including: Alyssa (Tansu, 38.8m), Blue Ice (Palmer Johnson, 45.7m), C-Side (Feadship, 34.4m), Elena (Heesen, 47m), Exuma (Perini Navi, 50m), Ingot (Burger Boat Company, 46.9m) and Komokwa (Horizon, 41m).

The Rendezvous begins with an elegant lunch for the owners and their guests, escorted to a sea view restaurant on the dramatic coast of the Adriatic Sea to savour some of the exquisite local seafood delicacies. The evening hosts a Welcome Cocktail reception with the opportunity to yacht hop, giving the guests the chance to visit each yacht and enjoy the hospitality on board.

The second day brings the Cruise in Company, exploring the amazing UNESCO World Heritage site of the magnificent Bay of Kotor. Guests are offered a private tour of Our Lady of the Rocks; a small man-made islet crowned with a beautiful 17th century church steeped in history and legend. 

There will also be the opportunity to visit the protected hamlet of Perast – the impeccably conserved jewel of the Bay. This tiny town, with 19 churches and 16 palaces foaming with bougainvillea and wild fig, is the perfect place to amble and enjoy the Venetian ambience.

This will work up an appetite for a late lunch at a charming restaurant set in the grounds of an 18th-century flour mill overlooking the Bay of Kotor and beside the sparkling Ljuta River. An excellent menu of delicious local produce will be served within this romantic setting.

Day three offers guests the chance to savour some of the local culture or experience the extraordinary scenery by choosing an activity that best suits their mood. Whether it be an adrenalin rush canyoning down one of the Kotor mountains, hiking in the hills to take in the glorious view, a culinary experience to relish or pampering at a superb spa resort,  there is something for everyone.

The finale will be the Superyacht Rendezvous party at the luxurious Porto Montenegro Yacht Club. All guests will be invited to the champagne reception to watch the sunset, followed by a sumptuous dinner at the Yacht Club overlooking the Lido and the Marina, moving straight on to the after party with a top DJ and dancing to the early hours.

Throughout the event, the superyachts will be moored at Porto Montenegro, offering first class facilities, concierge service, tax-free fuel and a perfect view at sunset. Complemented by spacious waterside residences, signature restaurants, lively bars and a wide range of sports, leisure and cultural activities, the marina is an ideal superyacht homeport with berths of up to 180m.

Tansu are one of the most exciting designers and builders in the superyacht market today. In fact, one of their most notable creations, the 38.75m Alyssa is joining us in Montenegro fresh from her proud nomination at the World Superyacht Awards 2015.

Dockage in the marina at Porto Montenegro from Thursday July 2 – Sunday July 5 2015.
8 x VIP tickets to all of the social events:  Owners' Lunch, Welcome Cocktail & Yacht Hop, Cruise in Company and the Superyacht Rendezvous Party.
