PYA Updates on refresher training - don't get caught out!

Here at the PYA we are receiving numerous enquiries about STCW refresher training and it seems that many crew still do not understand that, from 1st January 2017, ALL SEAGOING CREW WILL HAVE TO HOLD CERTIFICATES THAT ARE LESS THAN FIVE YEARS OLD for certain mandatory STCW training courses.

In addition, it's important to understand that this applies to all seafarers, not just the yachting sector and, as a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult to book places for the required refresher courses: Warsash is fully booked until the end of July.
