RW Yacht Design Unveils New 54m Motoryacht
Yacht designer Robert Witzier has unveiled a new 54-metre motor yacht design, with curved flowing lines with a sharp axe bow.
The owners' area is situated on the upperdeck with private balconies on both sides and direct access to the private aft upperdeck.
For the other guests onboard there are two cabins on the lowerdeck midships, making 5 spacious cabins in total.
The tenders are stored behind gullwing doors in the bow, while a beach club aft provides easy access for guests.
The yacht will have a lightweight aluminium fast displacement hull which accounts for relatively low fuel consumption and good seakeeping characteristics.
D3 Applied Technologies have investigated the seakeeping characteristics of this yacht, and presented them in a paper at the RINA Confrence 'Design and Construction of Super & Mega Yachts' in Genoa last year.
RW Designs was founded by Robert Witzier, a naval architect and boating enthusiast. The designs of RW Yacht Design range from contemporary to modern and are both practical and distinctive. Yards, shipowners as well as private clients are welcome at RW Yacht Designs for designs, engineering, construction and project management.
