The ACREW “Festive Spirit” Professional Development Event

Europe´s biggest, newly expanded IMS Shipyard in Toulon will host the latest instalment of professional development events by ACREW, with a festive twist! The signature blend of workshops, drinks and lunch, all complimentary to ACREW members, is always in itself an amazing gift worthy of the season of goodwill.

This time they are swapping sundowners for mulled wine and beachwear for Santa hats at our ‘Christmas Party’ during the happy hour on Thursday 10th December.

Once again the brightest and best in the industry will share their knowledge and experience with crew of all levels.

Programme highlights include Peter Vogel from Interior Yacht Services keeping chief stews ahead of the curve in luxury design for 2016, Wayne Britton from  Securewest International preparing Captains on how they might deal with migrant ships in the Med and Gremco with all there is to know about ropes, rigging and splicing.

In the spirit of festive cheer, Corkers Fine Wines will provide drinks at lunch between 12.00 – 13:30 and during happy hour 17:00-19:00 on both the Wednesday and the Thursday. Lunch will be a hearty helping of sausages, burgers and salad and is always a great opportunity to meet fellow crew members.

All crew are welcome to attend lunch thanks to our sponsors Zoom Yachting Turkey. Any crew member wearing a santa hat for the Christmas party will be rewarded for their seasonal spirit with a special surprise!
