UNFURLED Crowned Sailing Yacht of the Year

Fresh from an exceptional regatta season, UNFURLED, the 46 metre sloop launched by Vitters shipyard, and the victor of this year's St Barth's Bucket, has won Sailing Yacht of the Year 2016 as well as taking the prize for Sailing Yacht 45 Meters and Above.

Unfurled's owners are very proud to have received the awards and extend their gratitude to all those who were involved in the design and build of this magnificent yacht.

The success of her interior is due to their passion and experience of sailing, matched by their uncompromisingly high standards and knowledge of Design and the design process. The challenge of building their vision of a cool, calm, contemporary interior with rigorous integrity of detailing and materials was achieved through the seamless teamwork and total commitment of the yard and interior contractor."

“Success brings satisfaction and more success. This is the second yacht we designed for this special pair, the Owners, which were involved in every detail and judged every decision. Innovations were questioned and had to be proven before they were adopted. Aesthetic consideration have been the driving motivation but in the end common sense prevailed above all. Unfurled is the product of team work of the Owners, the project manager Vitters the builder, the spar maker and the sail designers.”
