METS Reports Record Attendance
The Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) announced record attendance of 20,500 professionals at the three-day business-to-business event that ended Thursday.
“A rise in attendance of over 5 percent, compared to 2012, is very good news for everyone connected to METS and the global maritime supply industry,” METS domain manager Irene Dros said in a statement.
“We also had a couple more exhibitors than last year and more country pavilions than ever. The various conferences and meetings also attracted huge numbers, adding to the positive vibe and genuine sense of good business being conducted. We are very proud it has been a record-breaking event and grateful to our exhibitors and visitors for reinforcing the reputation of METS as an unmissable exhibition.”
The show had 1,320 exhibitors, two more than last year, and an increase in attendance of almost 1,000 from 2012.
METS 2014 will be held Nov. 18-20 at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Center.
