Minoprio Wins Argo Group Cup in Bermuda

Adam Minoprio and his BlackMatch team from New Zealand fought hard to beat Keith Swinton's Black Swan in the 67th Argo Gold Cup.

 The 30 year old Minoprio from Auckland New Zealand is a match racing champion (2009) but has not competed in a regatta this year. Although he has competed six times and twice finished runner up in this event, it is the first time Minoprio and his crew have taken the cup.

“I’m ecstatic. It’s amazing. I’ve been trying to win this event for a long time and to do so feels wonderful”. Say's Minoprio, “Some of my crew talked me into coming back here and we were able to get some good results and have a good time.”
