Solarglide Triumph in Total Warrior Challenge

When it comes to the best places to work, Solarglide, the UK based manufacturer of solar screens for the maritime industry must surely be up there!

A family run business with a great team spirit, Solarglide recently completed the 10km 'Total Warrior' assault course in the Lake District. After running, climbing and crawling through mud, a final bit of torture was saved till the end - see the video below!

The team completed the course in two hours and 46 minutes and, according to Marketing Manager, Dale Parker, "It's safe to say we're all aching a bit this week!"

Founder and Managing Director, Paul Pringle said, "We are so proud of the whole team here at Solarglide. We managed to raise a grand total of £1,500 with donations still coming into the team's 'Just Giving' page. All proceeds are going to the St Oswalds Hospice for children and young adults in the North East of England.

Paul and Dale strapped a pair of Go Pros onto their heads to document the whole course.
