Acquera Yachting to Acquire G&K Yachting in Greece

At a launch event held at the Palazzo San Teodoro in Naples, Acquera Yachting founder and CEO Stefano Tositti and G&K Yachting Managing Directors Georgios Mourkakos and Kostas Skiathitis announced a preliminary agreement for Acquera Yachting to acquire 100% of G&K Yachting’s agency division.

Acquera Yachting offers full yacht agency services and was launched back in February this year. With their initial operations starting from their home town of Venice they have also opened a string of new offices along the Italian coastline and main Islands. The acquisition of G&K Yachting who operate in Greece is a strategically important step for Acquera Yachting, as it offers them the opportunity to fulfil their expansion plans in the east Mediterranean and will greatly reinforce their position in their offering to yachts.

The management and operation of G&K Yachting will remain unchanged and will continue to operate under the G&K Yachting brand until the end of 2018, when they will move under the Acquera Yachting brand identity.

G&K yachting fulfilled all the prerequisites for acquisition with a proven track record within the industry. The company founded by Kostas Skiathitis and George Mourkakos has their headquarters in Marina Zeas in Athens and has 23 employees. Between the two of them they amass over 35 years of experience in the yachting industry.
