Vista Mar Marina, Panama, Enhances Customer Experience with Online Booking

Vista Mar Marina of Panama has recently acquired new technology to make its reservation process easier. In December of 2017, Vista Mar partnered with Dockwa.com, a website through which customers can make marina reservations online using their computer or mobile device. This is the first time that customers are able to reserve with Vista Mar Marina through an online service.

Through its new partnership with Dockwa Inc., Vista Mar leadership hopes to improve the reservation experience of its customers. The partnership is the direct result of recent efforts from Vista Mar to expand its reach to international boaters and enhance the experience of its customers from the moment they reserve a slip all the way until they have returned home.

Dockwa is “an award-winning unified marina reservation platform which connects boaters to marinas in real time, online and by app,” according to the Dockwa website. The website is free to use, and is the first company to make boating reservation services available via app technology.

Along with Dockwa, Vista Mar Marina is now also affiliated with Marinas.com, a website that provides detailed information on the capacities, fuel, and amenities of marinas around the world. Docka acquired Marinas.com in January of 2017, and, between the two websites, marina reservations are now able to be made in over 30 countries and to more than 100,000 boaters.

The marina is managed by Brandy Marine International, L.L.C of Sarasota, FL. The CEO and president of Brandy Marine, Bruce Blomgren is excited to see the marina grow through its partnership with Dockwa: “Vista Mar Marina’s new affiliation with Dockwa is just one of many steps that will allow the marina to be recognized internationally as the finest marina on Panama’s Pacific coast,” he states.

Vista Mar Marina is located in the San Carlos district of Panama, which is along the Pacific coastline of the country. Panama was named 2012’s number one place for tourism by the New York Times, and continues to grow as a tourist destination for cruising vessels.
