Yare Captains Networking Forum Programme

The Yare Superyacht Networking Forum is a leading B2B event for the yachting industry unique in its focus on nurturing links between captains, suppliers and stakeholders. This year the event takes place from 18th to 21st April in Viareggio, Italy, where Tuscany's strong maritime offering will also be showcased.

Some of the yachting heavy-weights attending Yare this year are NCA Refit, Lurssen, Lusben, Amico, Jotun, Porto Mirabello, MB92, One Ocean Port Vell, Overmarine, Dohle Yachts Bluewater, Luxury Water Toys, Veem and Port Vauban, to name just a few! 

The Captains' Meetings facilitate valuable one-on-one discussions between captains and industry professionals who will be matched according to their personal criteria. This year, 32% of the captains attending represent megayachts of over 40 meters, among which we can count iconic sailing and motor yachts. Wednesday 18th April 

District Tour and Welcome Party

On arrival day, the delegation of Captains will go on a district tour, visiting shipyards and facilities; the tour will end with a welcome party sponsored by Lurssen.

Thursday 19th April 

Workshops followed by the Gala Dinner

This April the operative days of YARE will be held in the nautical district of Viareggio. Lusben repair shipyard (Via Coppino 431, 55049 Viareggio) will welcome all Captains on 19th April for The Superyacht Captains Forum day. 

After the keynote and opening speech, a diverse mix of Captains, Yacht Managers and members of the Refit and Repair Industry will join in interactive and instructive workshops.

The VIP delegates and industry partners will be divided into three teams and be asked to migrate through Viareggio to the various workshop locations (at walking distance) where they will be led in debate and workshops on problem solving or with the aim of sharing ideas and experiences.

The colours of YARE - blue, red and gold - will signpost your way around the neighbourhood!

NCA Refit will be the exclusive sponsor the Gala Dinner of YARE 2018, this will take place in Lucca, in the majestic venue of Palazzo Pfanner.

Friday 20th April

B2C Meet the Captain, meeting key people has never been so easy!

Lusben will again welcome what we call B2C Meet the Captain: each company will receive an agenda of 15 scheduled meetings that our system sets up (based upon your specified interests and the Captains’). Please make sure to downlad the YARE app and fill in your interests and company information.

At the end of the day the Exclusive Captains Dinner will take place, uniquely for Captains and sponsors.

Saturday 21st April

Yare Active!

Following the business meetings, events on Saturday are designed for participants to relax and get together in a more informal environment. We invite you to join our Captains on the pitch. There will be a football match Captains v. companies, open air target shooting, and a racing bike tour led by an international champion.
