General Information & Marina Services
At the very heart of the residential area of Fontvieille, the marina offers full facilities for occasional visitors and longer stays. The marina can accommodate up to 275 yachts with a maximum draught of 3 metres.
A nearby shopping centre, hypermarkets, the Monaco heliport and the sporting complex of Louis II stadium are in easy access. In the marina, numerous restaurants and bars line the waterfront making the Port of Fontvieille an ideal destination in any season.
Only fifty years ago Fontvieille was a narrow stretch of sand where the rock plunged into the sea. 17 hectares of land was reclaimed from the sea, with space set aside for the creation of a new marina. Sitting at the foot of the Rock of Monaco to the east, the Port of Fontvieille is one of the most sheltered in the region, protected from the easterly winds by the rock and from the southerly and westerly swell by the large sea wall.
