General Information & Marina Services
Zea marina is a stand-out superyacht destination in Athens, with superb facilities and a wonderful location in the most vibrant area of Pireaus. Having been renovated in advance of the 2004 Olympic Games, Zea Marina Pireaus offers top-class, modern facilities run by an organised and friendly team.
The marina operates all year round on a 24-hour basis. At the entrance of the harbour, boats are required to call the marina on the VHF channel 9 in order to receive instructions. The marina’s boat and personnel will provide all necessary assistance. After your arrival, you have to check in at the reception office where you will also be informed about all details concerning your stay.
Electricity (220 V and 380 V) and fresh water are available at all berths as well as waste removal services, while permanent laid moorings guarantee the safety of boats moored here. The marina is large enough to offer plenty of room for the safe manoeuvrings of superyachts up to 150m.
Many restaurants and bars line the streets in this bustling university neighbourhood, where owners, guests and crew have plenty of options for a night-out, morning coffee or day of shopping.
Renowned for sailing, particularly in July and August when winds are less strong, the Saronic Islands and the Cyclades offer charming scenery, excellent local food and wine and fascinating cultural heritage. You will have access to the most typical and unspoilt areas of Greece such as Santorini and Tinos, Serifos and Koufonisia.
Zea Marina itself is a gateway onto the astounding ancient history of Greece, and the sites of the Acropolis and the theatre of Herodes Atticus, among others, cannot be missed.
